Rolle Call!
After yet another one of their famous "day jobs" the Giants signed top of the class FA safety/CB Antrel Rolle to a 5 year contract worth 37M with apparently 15 guaranteed. The ex-`Cane, ex-Card will pair perfectly with fellow `Cane Kenny Phillps to give a two playmaking, physical safeties. Paired with Webster and Thomas the Giants will now have a big, athletic backfield that can actually catch footballs, press cover and stack up the run. Nice. After a tough season, the Giants bounced back nicely on the first day of free agency with a perfect fit. Kampman may be next if he doesn't sign elsewhere or maybe a linebacker. Who knows, but In Jerry We Trust! Go Giants!

Great start to fixing our defense. I hope JR has one or two more FA's in mind on the defensive side of the ball. Now I can sleep.
I think they really like the draft this year. Also, picking in the middle of rounds rather than the end of rounds is going to be like picking at the top of rounds, for our scouts.

Rolle said he plans to help Phillips along with his rehab down in Miami. "He’s never going to leave my side now."
Rolle will wear #26.
You didn't mention Ross. Was that an oversight, or do you have reservations about him, apart from the hamstring?
I was only talking about the starters.
