The Winter Meetings
The Winter Meetings are officially underway. So far, rumors have the Yanks possibly trading Brian Bruney, at loggerheads with Andy Pettitte, still after Curtis Granderson on one of an open field for Halladay. Of course. a lot of rumors will fly over the next few days and that's the fun of the hot stove, finally. The first day of the meetings is usually full of league business, but in between the meetings and what have you, the GM's will huddle and we'll start hearing things. At the beginning of the offseason, I thought there might be a way that we could trade for both Granderson and Halladay, we'll see if there is. Go Yanks!
UPDATE: The Yanks have just traded Brian Bruney to the Nats for a PTBNL.

Should I not expect Austin Jackson to be with us next year? I feel like out of all of our big trading chips, Jackson is first to go for the right player.
I wouldn't be shocked if he gets traded, especially if Granderson is acquired. Granderson is actually a salary dump, so AJack shouldn't be in that one. He could be in a Halladay trade.
As with the Notre Dame job, I think we should pay close attention to names NOT being mentioned in regards to the Yankee outfield. Rumors and innuendo are leaked to the press BY THE YANKEES in order to control the flow of information (and cover up their true intentions sometimes, IMO).

Per Ed Price: "Tigers and Yankees are in talks on Granderson, but "lukewarm" cause Yanks so far won'tdeal prospect A.Jackson & Det wants CF in return."
Detroit better get it through its head that no top prospects are being shipped to the Tigers in a salary dump.

yup. Detroit's not kidding anyone.
Detroit can keep dreaming... for that price.... Next.. Go Cash!
So who are the Yanks looking at with the Rule 5 draft on thursday?
Cashman is up to something.
Guys at RAB think it's Kolby Clemens.
Roider? ;)
More seriously, I heard something about a pitcher in either the Rangers or Phillies system.
I guess we'll find out Thursday.
No way Yanks carry K Clemens on the roster all season long. It has to be an arm.
Perhaps they get a player and then spin him off elsewhere.
