It's the Halladay Season

Jon Heyman is reporting that the Yankees have decided to pursue Roy Halladay. He has no sense of what it will take, as he's pitching at least three names that will not be available. But, it looks like the pitcher that makes the most sense to us, is the one that makes the most sense to Cash and Co. Hopefully, Halladay will use his NTC to make this as painless as possible. Go Yanks!

Phil, with today's news of lowering the payroll, do you think it"s still possible to get Halladay and Holliday. I realize that there is some posturing in the free agent market but at the same time there has to be pressure to cut payroll.

I don't believe they are lowering the payroll significantly.

So what three are off the table?

Jackson, Montero and Hughes?
