The Giants Move to 7-1

Brandon Jacobs was a beast as the Giants spent the afternoon sloppily dominating the Dallas Cowboys. As nice as it is to move to 2-0 in the division, the Giants were awfully sloppy on offense today. Eli had two fumbles and a pick six, that seemed to be the result of more miscommunication with Plax. Plax had more drops including a TD and what might have been a game ending first down. Matthews had two separate holding penalties. Hedgecock had another drop, and the OL had some false starts - at home! Beyond that, Eli had three TD passes to Boss, Smith and Toomer, and Jacobs, Ward and Bradshaw all came to play. The defense was dominant once again lead by Tuck, Pierce and two picks from Corey Webster, and it's likely they would have pitched a shut out but for a ridiculous personal foul called against Tuck. Danny Clark also had his best game of the season so far, and the safeties keep stepping up, though Butler hurt his knee. A great win, but the Giants are far from peaking and they really have to clean some of the problems up before they head to Philly. Go Giants.

Definitely a great win indeed. However Eli was extremely sloppy today with the ball handling and that bad pick. Whomever fault it is we, must get the plays in faster we cannot keep running the playclock down. Coughlin needs to get on Gilbride and tighten this up.

Eli needs to clean up the mental errors from today and we will be tough the rest of the way.

it was Plax's fault as Eli's three step drop proves.

This was great cause the coaches can really let them have it this week.

they sure can let them have it and they will. Those kinds of mistakes will cost us in Philly.

I was wrong about the pick six. Eli said it was his fault for rushing it and not reading the corner squatting.

Phil,
Do we make a run at D'Angelo now that he has been waived?

I agree with you that it probably does not make any sense, but I can see why Reese would kick the tires.
