2 More Points!

The Rangers won their 3rd in a row by beating the Islanders 4-2 to move their overall record to 9-2-1. Captain Chris Drury busted out of his slump with the Rangers first and fourth goals. Callahan and Gomez also scored. Zherdev kept his point streak alive with an assist on Drury's first goal. The two goals the Rangers surendered were pretty annoying: the first with :07 left in the first to tie the game 1-1; the second, was shorthanded. Ugh. Beyond that the Rangers did finally manage to score in a 5 on 3 situation, but, otherwise the powerplay is still lacking. But, a great start is a great start and the passing seemed a little better tonight. Eventually they should play better. Go Rangers!
