Rangers Lose

Marcus Naslund had a tip-in in the first minute of play and that was it for the Rangers tonight as they eventually lost 2-1 to Dallas at the Garden. Here endeth the hardest part of their schedule and overall, they did well. 6-2-1 is nothing to sneeze at, especially considering the number of new and young faces. Clearly, they've got to be more consistent on the forecheck and better on defense. With not more games till Friday, the Rangers could make a trade for a wing or a defender. The rumors were flying just before the season started, so we might see something now that they've got at least a vague idea of what they have. Rest up, Rangers.
