Knicks Win
The D'Antoni era of Knicks basketball got of with a bang as the Knicks, looking like a TEAM, for the first time in several years, defeated Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat at the Garden. After dominating the first three quarters, the Knicks did look a little like the Isiah era team as they let the Heat back into the game in the 4th. It was probably not what Coach D'Antoni wanted to see in game one, but it was a welcome site for Knicks fans who just wanted to see some progress. At times they looked spectacular as 5 different Knicks scored 15 or more points and the team collected 27 assists. I don't really want to harp on any individual player in such a team effort, but Wilson Chandler is the deal. Here's the boxscore: http://www.nba.com/games/20081029/MIANYK/gameinfo.html
