Ranger Rumors

It almost seems natural that with so many excess forwards on the NHL roster, the Rangers might be looking to trade a few. The latest rumor is Dawes and Prucha for Ryan Kesler and maybe another player in a bigger deal for the Vancouver Canucks. Kesler is a good sized wing who the Rangers would then add to the second line with Dubinsky and Zherdev. Another less reasonable rumor has the Rangers making a two for one trade to make roster room for Brendan Shanahan. Now all hockey fans love Shanny, but he really needs to retire, and the Rangers really need to stop enabling farewell tours . With so many days between games, you had to expect some rumors, so here they are.
