Chuck Stays Amuck

Chuck's back for a second season and has continued grow as really likable series. Not only do we get our 8 o'clock allotment of danger, but we also get the funniest spy show since Get Smart! was new. Fortunately, it's not another swing at the Get Smart! set-up. It's a little more clever than attempts like those were. The villains are real enough, and the regular cast rocks. This is more school of Flint, Helm or `60's era Bulldog Drummond than what we're used to seeing, supplemented with better character comedy at the BuyMore and Chuck's house than we're seeing in most sit-coms these days. Of the three new shows with the most potential that bowed on NBC last year, only Journeyman is gone. I'm glad they've stuck with Chuck and Life.
