Rangers Win!

In an energetic but somewhat sloppy game the Rangers beat the Lightning 2-1 on a Brandon Dubinsky power play goal. Marcus Naslund had the other Ranger goal off a great assist from Gomez. Lundqvist was great early and the only goal he gave up was just a terrific play by Martin St. Louis. The O and the D looked a little off, which lead to lots of turnovers as the players are getting to know each other. But, the Rangers played with heart and came away with the first two points of the season. The first three lines looked really good, as did Staal on D. Let's hope they look even better tomorrow. Go Rangers!

Solid win. Our new guys played particularly well. With time the O will gel and we will get more goals.

I agree. Nice to see a team with so many new parts play with so much heart.
