4 Points

Wade Redden had a power play goal and an even strength assist on Scottie Gomez's game winner as the Rangers once again beat the Lightning 2-1 collecting all 4 of the points up for grabs in their opening series in Prague. The Rangers dominated the first period but were down 1 at the break after Hank let an Adam Hall redirect trickle in. The Rangers bounced back with 2 goals in a second period they also dominated, then seemed to play a bit of their famous prevent in the 3rd. Fortunately the Lightning didn't score and the Rangers moved to 2-0 on the season. Kalinin looked a lot better today, and that's a relief. Go Rangers!
