The Yankee Clippard?

The Yanks are gonna need another starter while Phil Hughes rehabs his hamstring. The obvious candidates are Rasner, DeSalvo and maybe Chase Wright, but today, Tyler Clippard through his Yankee hat into the ring throwing 7 innings of shutout ball and k'ing 11 Toledo Mudhens in the process. He was throwing in the low 90's with a 77 mile per hour change and a couple of different shaped curveballs. Once Tyler got it last year at AA he was lights out. He seems to have gotten it at AAA and as soon as he's had proper rest (which won't be in time for Sunday) he should come up and make some starts as he is a better pitcher than Rasner, DeSalvo and Wright, and seems to be just as ready.

As for Sunday, Rasner will probably get the start cause he's already on the 40. It could also be DeSalvo, but both he and Rasner are not efficient with their pitch counts and could tax the pen. Go Yanks!
