Rangers Eliminated But Not From Lafraniere

Okay, that was brutal. The Rangers stars didn't shine and the kids like Kakko, Chytil and Fox outplayed everyone on a second deal. The Rangers scored first tonight, but that was all they got.  Chytil was robbed at one point and it was all downhill from there. It doesn't feel like they would move on from Quinn, but, they shouldn't discard their rolodex.

That said, because of the crazy system this year, the Rangers still have a chance to move up in the lottery and get Alexis Lafraniere. Lefraniere is expcted to be drafted first, even though he is a winger and not a C. That means he can play of the same line as Kakko someday, and maybe with Kakko and Chytil and maybe next year.

The Rangers also have another first rounder - the one they got for Skjei, so it would be nice if the Canes lose their next series.
