Rangers Reportedly Meeting With Panarin Tomorrow

Earlier, it was mentioned that the Rangers would be having a staff meeting tomorrow to re-affirm or re-adjust their way forward. While that might still be happening, they’re also meeting with Artemi Panarin, the point forward free agent.  Panarin played for JD in Cleveland so there is familiarity and, apparently interest on the Ranger side now.  They’ll have to some cap work, like trading Kreider and others, but it might be worth it and what Panarin will cost.  And they also have to fit Trouba.  And the RFA’s. So if there’s mutual interest tomorrow, a lot has to get done before they can sign anyone else on 7/1.  Should be interesting.
