Ralph: Giants After Eugene Monroe

The Ravens released Eugene Monroe earlier today and according the Ralph V. the Giants began pursuining him immediately.  The Giants still have plenty of cap room and should be able to get done if he passes a physical.  And surely he represents a big improvement over Marshall Newhouse.  Still, with all the cap room and time they had, you'd think they could have come up with a younger and healthier replacement.

Since I read the Niners are involved, It made me think about who would be preferable, Anthony Davis or Monroe? I hope Monroe doesn't choose another team if he is asked to play right tackle here, as happened with Okung.

They should just let him play LT. Playing at RT didn't negatively effect Luke Pettigout in his second season.
