Giants Sign JPP
The Giants today, apparently content with JPP's football shape, re-signed their erstwhile end. He's still probably a few weeks away for competing, but perhaps this is the beginning of guys getting back instead of going out with inane injuries. I assume the contract is loaded with incentives and won't harm the cap war chest the Giants will take into the offseason.

My primary hope is that he plays well enough earn another contract from New York Giants.
It is still an open question, who plays first, Cruz or JPP.
They must be unhappy with their D-line's overall, and I can understand that after seeing the fourth quarter of last Sunday's game.
Apart from the on the field issues, I thought JPP's comments were really moving. I am rooting for him now even beyond the uniform. It would be beyond great for him to be a very good to great Giant again.
Coughlin sounds very upbeat about JPP. He's at 268, which they like. He thinks the hand will be ok because he has used it as a club rather than a grabber. There is "no intention" of him playing on Sunday. That doesn't sound like a complete ruleout.
He looks strong with good muscle tone:

I'm loving what I'm hearing about JPP and I think he can inspire the team
