Giants Take Another Safety

Giants just took another safety.  Mykkele Thompson played for Texas and for some reason wasn't at the combine.  He ran in the 4.4's at his pro day, along with a sub-7.00 three cone, so it looks like he'll be the coverage companion to the in the box guys.   We'll see what they like about him, he is another athlete.

He is saying that he didn't expect to get drafted, but that wearing contact lenses earlier this season has enabled him to be a much better player.
