Rangers Win: Talbot is a Beast
So the Rangers just handled the Caps about the way a 91 point team should handle an 82 point team, and Cam Talbot was once again playing at his elite level. The Rangers thus concluded a late season gut check road trip where they got 7 out of 8 possible points, in the homes of 4 teams that are going to the playoffs. And they've done it all with their backup goalie. Wow. So the Rangers won 3-1 and these kids from BC are just too generous as Hayes assisted Hags and Miller and Kreider assisted Marty St. Louis, who finally didn't screw one up. Let's hope this gets him going, as we'll need what we thought we traded for down the stretch. Just another enormous win for the good guys!

I am very impressed with Talbot. That save early in the 2nd on the caps 5 on 3 was amazing, one of the best you will ever see.
if the Rangers decide to trade Cam this off-season, they will get a nice haul back. However, they better be very sure about Sapaski(sp???) before doing so. At 1.45 million, Cam will not hurt the cap much next season.
One more thing.
What's with Yandle and the power play? Looks as inconsistent as ever.
Too many games against good teams to get adjusted quickly, I think.
