Giants in UFA.Pt 13: Giants Sign Kenrick Ellis
The Giants are signing or have signed DT Kenrick Ellis to a one year deal. Kenrick is a run stuffer, and heading into the offseason, run stuffing DT was one of the areas I had earmarked for FA and not the draft. So they got this one right:) Meanwhile, the term of the deal is intersting because he's only 26 or 27 so locking him up longer seemed likely -- also they gave him the whole night and day routine, and probably bought him dinner last night. Good pick up and if he succeeds they wll have to ability to keep him around.

Yes, for this offseason, out of an context positive.
Great pickup. When we line him up next to Hankins, I think that will be the biggest pair of young DT's we've ever had.
Do we ever sign a safety? jeez this is looking like the o-line from last season.
Martellus Bennett?? Did Jerry learn anything???
What about Bennett?
I think the implication was that he was here on a 1 year deal and we still haven't replaced him.
Oh, I see. As I have said, they were too loyal to Tuck (when they needed his money elsewhere, like retaining Bennett), who has shown that he is only loyal to money. It's the American way, I guess, but clearly, wining isn't his biggest priority, and it has to be the Giants.
Yes sorry phil is right the 1 year thing is what I was alluding to :)
