Yanks Stuff 11/6

Hidden between the insane amount of ARod articles currently being published was news that both Zoilo Almonte and Antoan Richardson became free agents today.  Of course, both could still be back, or, better, both could be replaced by younger, more talented and more real prospects.  Not just on the big league field, but primarily on the 40.  There's been way too much crap on the Yankees 40 man roster for the last several years.  Maybe this offseason, they can use the 40 to improve their choices rather than having it block better choices.

So Heyman says they have interest in Hammel. If true, maybe one day we will get a real GM, because Hammel sucks.

I have a feeling they are going to pursue Tulo.I saw Hammel pitch in DC before the trade and he was great but he didn't look so good in the AL which worries me

I think Hammel was mentioned as part of their negotiation with McCarthy. Not too worried about him.

The Mets want DRob. Is their pos pick protected?

Apparently, it's not.

We need Robertson.

Also Yanks are interested in Alexei Ramirez.

CWS have liked Murphy/Cervelli in the past so maybe one of them and Phelps/Warren plus a minor leaguer would do the trick.

I don't like that deal at all.

Maybe include Judge?

Judge? This team can't win unless they trading their best prospects.

This is madness.

Stop trading

And no way they let Robertson go to the Mets.

If McCarthy thinks he has leverage yet another great reason to not sign him.

Enough mediocrity is already on the roster.

There is literally no one on the trade market worth trading Judge for.

Judge is untouchable to me. This trade gets even worse IMO. I think your pulling my leg.

I would trade Judge in a package for Stanton or Trout. Since these guys are available, so no, I would not trade Judge.

Stanton's injuries concern me.

For Trout, I would literally trade a package of almost anyone.

Any two ML or mL pitchers because they are so fragile.

And then any two or three position players. There isn't anyone on the ML roster that anyone would want, which speaks volumes about the mess they are in, but Judge, Sanchez, Refs, etc. without blinking an eye.

Trout yes Stanton no thanks.
