Giants Lose Again

The Giants embarrassed themselves at home today against a 49er team that kept trying to give them the game, but Eli gave them the ball 5 times on INT's.   The Niners got away with a shitload of contact on passing plays that hasn't been allowed this year.  That said, for about the 7th time this year the Giants looked unprepared.

It is also true that they didn't do enough in the last offseason to fix the line, and they're bargain basement pick-ups of Walton, Jerry and Brown nearly got Eli killed today.

This is a horrible team that needs to tank so they can rebuild more quickly by picking at the top of rounds for a change.

Here is the problem. After Dallas next week the schedule is so easy that they will go 6-10 or 7-9 lose a good draft pick, keep TC(when he deserves to be fired)

Easy??? Maybe they beat Jacksonville and Washington. Which is 5.. Rams just beat Peyton, and their D will roll our O. Tennessee is no gimme. philly and home ESP if for the division, won't happen. more realistic 5-6 than north of 6.

Reese is a bigger problem.

The best or worst (depending on your p.o.v) thing about the cap in the NFL is that it should force managerial efficiency.

Since MLB doesn't have one, teams can muddle along if they can outspend their mistakes as the Yankees have for years.

But obviously, that the best players like Trout and Stanton are signed through their peak seasons may make that a problematic strategy because it won't just be the best young players locked up but probably most, if not all, of the really good players.

Anyway, Mara needs to wake the hell up and realize that the team is fundamentally broken from the top down and clean house.

Lawyer spot on with your post. A clean sweep is what is needed. I know Mara does not like change, but I think he has no choice. We need to catchup with the times and set our our next run. The patchwork plan hasn't worked. The best thing is to go 0-6 the rest of the way.
