Rangers Tonight

Rangers against the Pens again, this time in Pittsburgh.   And once again AV is sitting Duclair.  I don't know if this is strategy or idiocy, but it's not helping us win games.  I wonder if we'll ever get any farther than we did last Spring with AV calling the shots.   Great coaches with with their best talent, and now with their pointless Tanner Glasses.

Not much positive to say, as it was a very uninspired effort which mimics that of their coach. will start with a few positives. McIlrath is a beast. had that intimidation factor. you saw that no one really wants to challenge him. He has a very heavy shot, though he missed the net a bit he has a real cannon. Haggerty was a hitting machine. You could hear his checks from all over the building, lots of oohing and ahhing. Tarnasky was very strong on the puck, would love to have seen him shoot more.

Very sloppy defensive game, too many penalties. Conner Allen was guilty of two bad ones. JT looked very disinterested. Bodie was lost and got beat badly often. Lindberg was okay on draws,but needed to be more aggressive. Kostka was awful, and Malone has no business playing, he is wasting a spot. The biggest problem was on the back end with much miscommunication and scrambling. Not enough attack zone time.
