Yanks Win

CC was up and down, though actually mostly up, even though he gave up 3 runs with 2 out in the 6th.   Brett Gardner became the first Yankee to homer this year, and the Yanks won 6-4.  Warren seems more comfortable out of the pen than Phelps so far, and that could create a role for him.   Solarte had a ground rule double and continues to play well.   Ellsbury batted third because Jeter was back.  Beltran sat.   The Yanks are back to .500, and I hope they can take off a bit from here.  It's a drag when they are trying to get back there in June or July.   Kelley worked around a 2-out triple in the 8th.  And we have a new closer.   He's good.   Big win and let's sweep the next series.
