Yankees: Pineda Again

Pineda goes against the Sox tonight.  He got zip from his teammates for his first great start, but he must have been relieved to know he could once again retire major leaguers in an actual game.   Tonight, he'll face the champs, and they'll probably have a pretty good plan for facing him.  The Yankees offense hasn't taken off yet, and the way it's constructed, who knows if it will.  Jeter sort of has an honorary hold on second in the order, and McCann has a scholarship hold on clean up.   And the infield defense behind Pineda will be suspect.   Last night, playing Soriano in left may very well have been the difference.   So let's just look for good peripherals from our starters for right now.  The wins will be too hard to come by.
