Yanks Recall Cabral

Yanks today called up LHP Cesar Cabral to fill the hole in their bp created by Robertson's injury.  Cabral had a good Spring.   Let's see if Girardi lets him pitch to righties or whether he intends to use him only for lefties.  Hopefully, they'll let him pitch to both.

I have confidence is Girardi with relievers.

The real issue with this team is no minor league position prospects who are major league ready; not one. That is inexcusable.

If he was a 3B, 2B, or 1B, he would be (or at least should be).

I would have been fine with letting him be the starting C and not signing McCann, but apparently the "baseball people," including the GM, believed that he wasn't ready.

Scott Sizemore is off to a real good start. If not called up by May he can opt out.
