This Week On The Blog 2/9-2/15

Interesting week on the blog coming right up.  Three of the teams will be busy, while the Rangers are off, but 7 of them will be playing in the Olympics.

Yankees:  The Yankees will introduce Tanaka and a Tuesday press event.  Then the pitchers and catchers who aren't already in Tampa will start reporting.  I could still see a trade happening, maybe around Valentine's Day.  And I still owe you a post on the prospects.

Giants:  The Giants have to continue their scouting, and do their salary cap and internal free agency work.  They have an enormous job to do this offseason, and it could start this week.

Knicks:  Knicks could dump Woodson this week.  It's also being reported that the Knicks are looking for a Rajon Rondo blockbuster.   Yikes.   I'm down with switching coaches, though.

Rangers:  The Rangers are off.  I think contracts can still be negotiated, but no trades can be made till after the Olympic break.

So all and all an interesting week, with the Knicks most apparently ready for an explosive move or two.    Have a great one!
