Rangers Win!

Ryan Callahan had 2 goals and an assist, as the Rangers steamrolled the Avs tonight at the Garden.  They gave up just on goal, in the second, to make it 2-1, but then Stralman, my other trade piece, scored his first of the year within about a minute.  This Ranger team has been doing that lately -- answering, and they did it again tonight.  Then they had to kill off a 5-3 toward the end for the second and Hank and the kill were spectacular.   Brassard and Richards scored in the third to make in 5-1 and 4 in a row.   Huge win.  I'll remind you that the Rangers did have 3 days off between games, and Colorado did play last night, but a heck of a win.

We'll see what happens with Callahan.  It's great that he had a big game, but that shouldn't cause the Rangers to add dollars or years.   Hopefully, it will make whoever he's traded to overpay.   It's already North of where I'd be comfortable.

Edmonton is next.  Let's go Rangers.
