Rangers Tonight

Tonight the Rangers play the Red Wings.  Hank will be in the net and we won't know for a few hours if anyone is getting benched for the defensive gaffe that cost them the second goal on Tuesday Night. There's a smaller chance than there was last month that the Rangers will get embarrassed, but they have to play like they did during periods one and three against the Blackhawks, and not get back on their heals.   60 straight minutes of good, hard hockey playing.

Meanwhile, all over the `net yesterday, bloggers and Rangers posters were fantasizing about the Rangers being sellers at the deadline.   Obviously if they sold all the guys who will soon be FA, they'd have quite a haul.   But that doesn't sound like the Rangers.  Meanwhile, I still think they will and should trade Dan Girardi.   They can't always keep everyone and they need to start getting some returns on those they can't keep, like Girardi, who's been playing like his old self, lately.

Oh, and down on the farm, Dylan McIlrath is returning to full practice.  It's really too ban he's missed so much development.

Let's go, Rangers.
