Big Win for the Rangers

Wow.  The Rangers just put on one of their best shows of the young season, beating a very good Pittsburgh team 5-1.  Hank was fantastic, especially early when the Rangers couldn't get much going. Then in the final few minutes of the first, McDonagh scored, then his old Wisconsin/USA teammate Stepan scored.    After that it was pretty smooth sailing for the Rangers.  Boyle scores his first of the season.  Cally scored, and Brassard added the fifth.   MZA, Kreider, Richards (2), Boyle and Dorsett had assists.   Just a great team win against a very good team  LGR!

Hank was really excellent the first 10-11 minutes, until the team started dominating the puck. I would love to know what was the puck possession times for the first 10 minutes, and for the rest of the game. Must be a wide swing.

Seems like the way to really handle the Pens is the Bruins method: puck possession. Don't let Crosby, Malkin LeTang and company control the puck. Their defense is not even close to good, and they will be exposed if the puck is in their zone for long stretches.

Like last night, especially after the first half of period #1.
