Get a Center!

The Giants have a bunch of contracts to rework, and some current players to re-sign, but one thing they have to find in free agency is a new Center. Literally, they may even need one more than the Knicks do. O'Hara's been good, but breaks down often, and even at his best would get pushed into Eli's lap too often. Kalil still wear the franchise tag coming out of the settlement, so the Giants should be looking at David Baas from the 49ers, and Chris Spencer from the Seahawks. Baas, is a great fit and could step right in. He's harder to move than O'Hara was, and would have to learn how to to pull and trap like the Giants do. Chris Spencer has been a little injury plagued in his career, but he was Eli's C at Ole Miss, and is also bigger than O'Hara and athletic enough to pull and trap. Baas looks like the better fit, but with Spencer they could end up catching lightning in a bottle. Go Giants!
