Yankees Win!

Yanks just beat the Royals 3-1 and Joba Chamberlain pitching the 8th in place or Soriano threw a 9 pitching inning, k'ing 2 and getting a grounder! Wow! I remember a guy like that. If Joba is getting his stuff back, this could be a huge development. Meanwhile David Robertson got out of a big jam in the 7th, and Garcia collected another win. Jeter and Gardy had big hits, and ARod drove in 2 with a two out single for the margin of victory. Quick game! Go Yanks!

Soriano was such an awful signing -- and that's coming from someone who wanted him on the Yankees initially.

This team cannot hit with RISP. At all.

And are we supposed to think it's some kind of coincidence that A-Rod starts slumping as soon as the oblique injury happened? Just DL him already -- he's obviously playing hurt.
