Yanks Comeback and Win!

Mark Teixeira just scored the winning run in a 6-5, extra-inning come back win by the Yanks! Swish sacrificed him home, in the 10th. ARod also had a big hit in the rally. The Yanks had fallen behind 5-0 with Phil Hughes on the mound, but the pen did the job and so did the Yankee bats. Huge win! Go Yanks!

Feliciano being out for the year could be a problem, we need another lefty out of the pen.. I wonder what is wrong w Hughes?

I think Hughes has the same issue Verlander did several years back. If they bump him out of the rotation, though, he needs to go down to AAA, unless they're thinking reliever long term.

Sorry guys for the long holdout, my laptop died and I've been swamped at work...

Something funny I find, Hughes has never pitched well in the MLB without Dave Eiland as his pitching coach...

Other then that little tidbit, Colon has looked pretty good out of the pen.

I think Colon should easily be the No. 4 in this rotation. Let Hughes figure it out in AAA, or permanently move him to the pen. Noesi can be the longman.

Phil to the DL. Good move if they want to salvage him as a starter. Hope he does some extensive work with Nardi and recaptures his curve.
