Rangers Sign Hagelin

Acting quickly after his Michigan team's title game loss Saturday, the Rangers have signed two way C, Carl Hagelin, their 4th round pick 4 years ago. Hagelin, a Swede, opted to stay in school for the whole 4 years. So his college career is over anyway, and the Rangers had been trying to get him for some time. Hagelin isn't big, but he is one of the great young skaters in the system, and he's gritty. He's made some huge, clutch plays over his years at Michigan, too. Good player and future core. He'll report to Hartford immediately. Still waiting to hear about Werek and Kreider. Go Rangers!
