Rangers Will Need Help
The Rangers lost tonight, and if the Thrashers lose to Carolina Friday, the Rangers will have to beat the Devils Sunday to make the playoffs. It's a little dicey, though if the Rangers fall short, it is a great year to have the higher picks. Still, playoff experience would be good for the Rangers, so go Thrashers!

bad loss tonight.... If we do or don't make it I hope Sather A)gets rid of the dead wood B)recoup's some draft picks C) has a smart off-season, by first re-signing all our restricteds, not making any foolish signings, and makes smart trades D) continue to lock up our picks starting w Krieder whom according to reports wants to go back to school
btw I would also be in favor of trading Gaborik for multiple assets
We'll see what happens. Gabby hasn't been the same since last year's all star break, but has elite taent is a hard enough worker to bounce back. We'd have to top the Gomez deal to pull the trigger in my opinion.
I think we could at least match the haul for Gomez as Gabby is a far more elite player, but agree that we should not settle for anything less
On a side note MciLrath signed an ATO with the Whale meaning he can play the last 3 regular season games and the playoffs should they make it...
Yogan did, too.. We need to get Werek and Horak in.
Agreed I want Haglan and Kreider too
