Knicks Clinch!

The Knicks overcame to long term obstacles today: the Cavs and the playoffs. Riding a hot first half from Chauncey Billups, and solid contributions from Walker, Douglas and both Williamses, the Knicks finally downed the hapless Cavs and in so doing made the playoffs for he first time since `04. That was their third win in a row, and the Amar'e/Melo Knicks may finally be making their move. Sheldon Williams has, to a certain degree, stabilized the big man situation a bit. Walker is back in the rotation, and expanding the rotation seems to be helping. Now, hopefully, the Knicks will rest Amar'e, and get him fresh for the playoffs. Still, this is a big achievement for a team that has been shutout since 2004, and switched rosters in February. They're not elite yet, but they are on the way. Congrats, Knicks!
