Rangers Shutout Bruins!

Henrik Lundqvist and the Rangers withstood a wild barrage by the Bruins in the third period to win 1-0 in Beantown. It was Hanks's 11th shutout and one of his finest moments as a Ranger, and he got massive support from his teammates who were giving up their bodies and blocked something like 17 shots in the 3rd alone! Girardi was great. Derek Stepan scored the lone Ranger goal on a deflection. It was his 20th. He's special. This Ranger team may be a little bit ahead of schedule. Go Rangers!

It's interesting to me, that the Knicks struggles have gotten more attention than the Rangers run here at the blog. I'd rather talk positives.

Negativity only breeds more negativity. I wont dispute that, I guess once we added Melo we expected big things, but knew it would take time. The fact is they are not a complete team yet, and while the losses are frustrating I'm going to take a longer term approach with them. Rangers have a chance to move up to 6th if things break right. Hank deserves MVP consideration imo

Exactly, and the more you complain, the less you obtain. So I preach patience. Look at the Rangers? A lot of people wanted to dump Torts, said he wouldn't support a youth movement, would make the team collapse etc. Just took some time and everything looks great for now and in the future.

Speaking only for myself, I don't follow the Rangers as closely. That's the simple reason why I give the Knicks more attention.

And btw, pointing out the truth, isn't complaining. It's merely reflecting back reality.

One more thing: It's ironic that you're preaching patience for D'Antoni when a large part of the problem is D'Antoni's historic lack of patience, be it with Nate Robinson, Anthony Randolph, Corey Brewer, and maybe even Jordan Hill.

So patience is earned. Torts earned by showing it to young players on the Rangers, while D'Antoni has earned none.

Anyway, I'm out.
