What a Win!

After a cheap shot elbow from Matt Cooke to Ryan McDonagh, the Rangers roared back from a 2-1 deficit to win 5-2 in Pittsburgh. Anisimov, who continues breaking out, had the first goal. Then Gaborik tied it during a two man advantage in the third. Ryan Callahan who had taken a high stick which drew blood, then untied it, and all bets were off. McDonagh got his revenge by assisting on a Derek Stepan goal, and Dubi hit an empty netter to end it. Pittsburgh had been outskating them for the first two and a half periods, but the Rangers responded to the cheap shot, and have now won 4 in a row! Go Rangers!

gritty win. Gotta keep it going. Gaborik really needs to get hot imo to help keep this going!

Gaby's been heating up. I wish they'd put him with Step and Zucc. The future is looking blindingly bright for the Rangers.

I like that line suggestion Phil. As you know I have no use for Prospal,EC, and others. The future does indeed look bright let's hope Sather makes smart moves going forward. Our system has loads of potential. I still think we need that elite center and bomber from the point. I like McCabe but he is not the long term answer

Sather has been on a bit of a roll since the Gomez trade. The scouts have been on a bit of a roll since the Staal pick. Torts might be the right guy, and is showing a real wilingness with the kids.
