The Waiting Game

Having defeated the Devils, the Rangers must now hope that Carolina is held to 1 or no points in their game against Tampa Bay later. The Rangers got first goals of the season from Drury and McDonagh as well as Wolski, Prust and Prospal en route to their last victory of the regular season. Whether they Rangers get in or not, I do consider this season a transitional year and believe the Rangers have a Cup on the way in the next few. The minor league system is working, and though they'll have to find more scoring, they're on the verge of being defensively elite. The kids are alright, and we need another good draft. They deserve to make the playoffs, but if they don't, they can use the motivation. They're gonna be very, very good very soon. Go Rangers!
