What of This Man?

Behold, the most powerful commissioner of any sport, David Stern. As NBA Commish Stern has overseen unprecedented growth and expansion as well as various Dream Teams, ubiquitous branding schemes, the foundation of the WNBA, the developmental league and the NBA draft lottery. What he has never been able to do; however, is put his biggest star in his biggest market. Couldn't do it with Magic. Couldn't do it with Bird. Couldn't do it with Jordan. And couldn't do it with Kobe before his heel turn. He has a chance to with LeBron James right now. He can take his most valuable player/asset and drop him in his biggest market, finally, after all this time. You don't think he's all over it? Guess again.

Multiple sources are telling Newsday that LeBron James has decided to join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami. The new Big Three is here.

I think he's being played or used.

What is up with his personal psychology that he needs this bs process?

Anyway, here's my take: He stays in Cleveland.

I still trust the people I heard from today and two years ago.

Part of me thinks LeBron's camp is just floating this Miami thing to gauge the reaction. And what I've seen has not been positive

I still think that's all it is and it doesn't make any sense.

It's getting out of hand. Now BSPN is saying no decision has been made and are backing off the Miami stuff. You have to think LeBron's people planted some of this. I hope Mr. Stern is wide awake and making some calls :)

You really want him here if this isn't where he wants to play?

He always said he wanted to play in New York. We'll see what happens. He has a chance to be Babe Ruth.

Appears the Knicks have blown this. Apparently, Walsh has stated he will not be watching The Decision on ESPN tonight. That pretty much ends it.

Can't believe they couldn't convince him to come to NY to play for the Knicks and now we have to settle for Amare and his knees.

Maybe in a few years this will look different, but right now the poor drafting that has gone on (Jordan Hill?) killed this teams chances since Lebron looked at the roster and didn't see anything worth joining up with.

This is a bad day for Knicks fans. Will the team be better. Sure. Will they ever make it out of the eastern conference in the next 6 years? Not likely.

And if Lebron signs short term in Miami or with an opt out, that means he's going to Brooklyn once the Nets are officially housed there.

This is about one thing: He doesn't want to play in NY.

The Knicks with Amare and LeBron would be as good or better than Wade/Bosh.

It has nothing to do with Jordan Hill or the Knicks, so there is no failure in that regard.

It has everything to do with LeBron.
