Impact Youth

The Rangers just beat the Devils 3-2 on a goal and an assist from Michael Del Zotto and a game winning goal by Dan Gilroy. That was nuts. The Rangers fell behind in the first minute, only to have Coach Torts call a timeout and get them recalibrated. MDZ scored their first PP goal of the year by putting back a rebound. Later in the first with the Rangers down 2-1 and on another PP, MDZ slid the puck to Ales Kotalik for a laser shot that tied it. Matt Gilroy scored late in the second on a blast from inside the circle that was set up by Prospal and Gaborik. It was quite an impressive night for the kids. We're three games in and only Anisimov hasn't scored a goal among the rookies. But those will come. Next game Thursday. Go Rangers!
