Rangers Lose
After having to sit through a long Stanley Cup ceremony in Pittsburgh, the Rangers gave the Pens a run for their money, ultimately losing 3-2. The Rangers fell behind 1-0 in the first only to have Drury tie it up. They kept the monentum through much of the second, until a couple of weird bounces turned into two more Penguin goals. Gaborik closed the gap to 1 in the third period, but the Rangers just couldn't score that 3rd goal. The first two lines looked good and will look much better as they develop chemistry. The third line didn't get much going and Anisimov took a third period penalty. The fourth line skated around and Brasher fought to a draw with Goddard. On D, only Gilroy looked really good. Rozsival looked awful and they others had their ups and downs. Gilroy's gonna end up scoring some points for us. The Rangers host the Sens tomorrow night, and let's see if they progress. Go Rangers.
