Girardi Manages Yanks Out of a Possible Sweep

Wow. He's been overmanaging this whole series but it really hurt the Yanks today. First, he left Pettitte in to face Vlad, when Pettitte is just about the only guy on the staff who can't throw a fastball past Vlad. Vlad smoked it to tie the game. He use two different lefties for only one batter each, and the batters were back to back. And finally he took out Dave Roberts, who had gotten two quick outs, to replace him with the softer tossing Alfredo Aceves, who promptly gave up a couple of long drives and the game in the 11th. If Girardi blows this series, he better not be back. CC's gonna have to get this back on track tomorrow. Go Yanks.

Gardy's a much better defender and should be in there against a team that doesn't hit a ton of homers like the Angels. Especially since no one has ever taught Gardy how to pinch run.

I have been saying the past few days. Swisher needs a day off. I would put Melky in right and have Gardner lead off, we need to generate runs. Besides A-Rod,the Captian, and Matsui no one is hitting and that has to change. 6-9 in our lineup better produce and fast. Oh btw where is Tex??? besides can someone tell him the series is 3 games deep?
