Yanks Win in 13!

What a wild one! Yanks just beat the Angels in 13 after playing sloppy baseball and turning down many opportunities to win it in regulation. Jerry Hairston scored the game winner when Izturis threw away a fielder's choice from Melky. The Yanks fell behind in the 11th, only to have Alex Rodriguez tie it with yet another clutch homer. The Yanks pitched well, but made three or four errors and were burned by a bad call that doubled up Jeter - who also homered earlier in the game. Cano had a rough night making two errors, but he also had an RBI triple. David Robertson got the win, after replacing Marte. Aceves gave up the go ahead run to the Angels in the 11th and he had replaced Mo. Mo replaced Phil Hughes with two outs in the 8th. Phil replaced Joba who had replaced Coke. Coke replaced AJ with one out in the 7th. AJ was good, except for the 5th inning, where he lost it for awhile and gave up two runs. A thoroughly exhausting win, but a great one. The series continues out here, Monday afternoon. Go Yanks!
