Giants Lose
The Giants fell to 5-1 today as they were thoroughly humiliated by the New Orleans Saints in New Orleans. It was apparent on the first drive of the day that Defensive Coordinator Bill Sheridan had chosen the wrong game plan. What he had chosen to do was drop seven in coverage instead of cooking up any blitzes that could punish Brees. Instead, the Saints went up and down the field all day against the Giants scoring at will. There seemed to be no halftime adjustments, and the carnage continued well into the second half. The Saints also benefitted from any number of missed and made-up calls from Ed Hochuli's crew. Eli was nothing special today and had very little help, particularly from the backs charged with picking up blitzes. But it was only 1 loss, and there's a lot of season left for them to get better. Go Giants.

Make A Trade
Make Bradshaw #1 RB
We need to trade for a S before the deadline.
It's hard to make Brad the starter since he spends all week in a boot.
Phil you sense anything is cooking on the trade front for an S? Brown is terrible.
There has to be. I know they were looking for a S a few weeks ago.
If we want to go forward we absolutely need an S. The losses of Boley/Philips and Ross this week were magnfied.
whens the trading deadline
I believe it's this Tuesday
it's Tuesday.
Phil do we call Oakland about Huff or is that too unrealistic?
I have no idea.
