Knicks Trying to Move Up?

A Spanish newspaper is reporting that the Knicks are trying to move up to the #2 spot in the draft, presumably to take Pistol clone, Rickey Rubio. The paper reports that the Knicks were offering #8 pick and QRich for Darko and the #2 pick. Obviously, that makes no sense for Memphis and they turned it down. The question is, was that the real offer? I wouldn't think so. The Knicks still have some attractive trade bait in expirings, insurance, exceptions and cash, and will be able to do a lot better if they want to move up. I'm hoping they come away with either Rubio, Curry or Holiday, and get some extra picks. Go Knicks.
