Dominance

Well, well, well, and that's, just how Phil Hughes pitched today. Though Phil didn't have his good velocity, he had location, a good cutter and filthy curve as he pitched 8 innings of 3 hit, shut out ball against the heavy hitting Texas Rangers in Arlington. He was quick and efficient all day. ARod went 5 for 5 as the Yanks surged to an 11-0 lead without the benefit of a home run. Everyone pitched in - even Kevin Cash had three hits . Alfredo Aceves gave up a homer in the bottom of the 9th to end the shut out bid, but that was all. Big win. Joba goes tomorrow. Go Yanks!

Hughes was money today and I will have a big piece of crow since I predicted Hughes wouldn't make it past the 4th inning today.

Joba and Millwood should be good tomorrow.

Here's hoping Joba and AJ follow suit.

Nice for the kid to show what's in store. He has the goods. His fans need a little patience and faith. Great effort by all. Go Yanks.
