Carm Sent Down

2007 bonus baby Carmen Angelini, who is off to his second poor start in a row at low A Charleston has been sent down to extended Spring Training to get his head, offense and defense back together. It's good that they're interrupting his spiral this year. There's still plenty of time for him to get his head, glove and swing together. There wasn't a lack of talent when they picked him. In his place will be former high upside IFA Jose Pirela who had been in EST. Pirela is a big infielder who has drawn comps to Soriano. Let's hope this move works out for both players.
