At Least His Velo is Coming Back

Well, Phil only lasted 4 innings tonight, after being squeezed like a rubber duck all night, and he did give up 3 earned runs. On the bright side, his velocity continues it's climb, and if the homeplate ump and Jose Molina had been better at their jobs tonight, he wouldn't have given up 3 earned runs. The Yanks are down 4-3 in the top of the sixth after exploding for 3 on back to back homers from Damon and Tex right after Joe Girardi was tossed from the game, for among other things, yelling about the strikezone and telling the ump that the Red Sox first base coach was tipping the catcher's location to the Red Sox hitters. Go Yanks!
