The Melk Man Delivers

No, it wasn't another homer, but, in the bottom of the 8th, Melky knocked in the game winning run after the Angels had intentionally walked Swisher to load the bases. Melky's single plated one and reloaded them. Ramiro Pena then ripped a two run double into the right field corner to put the Yanks up by the final score of 7-4. AJ Burnett was not especially sharp tonight. He did give us 7 innings of 4 run ball, and didn't figure in the decision. Phil Coke got the win off of his perfect 8th, and Mo gave up a hit before getting the next three for the save. Nice win, Yanks! Andy throws tomorrow.
