He's Back, Too

Though Joba still doesn't have his midseason velo back from seasons past, he had enough to 3 hit the Tigers in a 7 inning, 1 run start. He K'd six and got a lot of grounders and pop-ups. Really nice stuff. The ump was squeezing him early and he let it get into his head a bit, but then he shook it off, stopped nibbling and went through the Tigers like a hot knife through butter. Great start. Yanks are up 8-1.
